Fantastic Italian Wedding

Hi all,

Well today I am posting one of my favorite weddings of ALL TIME! Originally featured on the wonderful wedding blog Snippet & Ink, this wedding is set in Tuscany and captures most of my favourite things about weddings, fashion, two wedding dresses, beautiful people having fun, a fabulous venue and incredible looking fresh food!!! It looks like the perfect wedding and I have continually used it as reference over the last few months!

Does this remind anyone of a Sex & the City scene? I adore the bride with her maids in the grounds of the fantastic villa with gowns of their choice! How much fun???
Beautiful!

Love this idea for favours, I am inspired!
Incredible lighting makes such a difference!

Beautiful couple, pretty dress, amazing event!
So there you have it, my idea of the perfect wedding, of course we can re create this in Greece, anyone looking for this type of affair over here???

Hello.....

Oh yes, I am still here, I took a well earned break.....to think....to work...to decide about what my future holds and whether wedding planning is going to be part of it...I haven't yet decided. I haven't retired, in fact I organised many weddings this summer, I just decided to lay low on the blogging! Despite this, I do actually miss it a little, I have many weddings that I have starred to share with you, so I will get started, without the pressure to write something witty every day.

In addition, while I wait in the sidelines to see how it goes, I am going to offer my services for free to answer questions on paperwork, planning your wedding in Greece, suggesting suppliers and blogging a few gorgeous weddings along the way!

Wedding in Pilio

Hi all,

I know I am ridiculously late in posting, I have been swamped over the past week and feeling uninspired at the moment, it seems the economic crisis is affecting my mood a little and I am finding it diffiicult to concentrate on details rather than this bigger picture that is, where will we be at this time next year, will we have a job, be able to eat, have a home? Unfortunately it is difficult living in the unknown, actually life is not that bad, it is harder for sure, but we are OK, it's the uncertainty and general bad mood that gets to you, I think this winter was the darkest I have lived through and really hope that by next winter we at least have an answer on where Greece is headed so we can all buckle down and live with it or make any other decisions that we deem necessary!

On the upside if you are reading from outside Greece, I reckon Greece is going to be a bargain next year and well worth visiting!!! So our tourism could boom as it did in Iceland after it's bankrupsy!

Anyway, enough with the doom and gloom, today I am showing a wedding by the fabulous Nikos Papadopoulos of a beautiful couple that held their wedding in the mountaineous area of Pilio, a go to area for the Athenians as it offers beautiful surroundings and ski slopes quite nearby.
