Coloured gowns fit for a bride by Costarellos

I love this shade of yellow, especially teamed with pale grey, it flows beautifully, the waist is so flattering, as is the low cut top and the detail on the shoulders gives it a 2010 update, simply devine!

I really think that any bride could wear this gown to her wedding, it's just beautiful, there is the palest of pink chiffon peaking out of the back and is a really whimsical design, I would definitely love to dance the night away in this gown!

A little more fashion, a little different, the skirt flows fabulously, there is almost a checkered effect to the dress, perhaps a hint of twenties, again very contemporary and would make any girl feel beautiful on her wedding day.

For those looking for a little white dress to wear to their wedding, look no further than this sassy little number. Loving the one shoulder black detailing, silky fabric, perfect for showing off some fabulous heels and a great pair of legs!

Net A Porter's exciting news!!!

So I am a fan of the website Net a Porter, I think they have done an incredible job over the last few years introducing designer clothes to clients who don't have time or the opportunity to view these in the flagship or large department stores.

Yesterday they launched their brand new wedding dress store with dresses by Alice Temperley (I loooooooove her dresses), Lanvin, Marchesa, etc.as always you can order the gowns to try on in the comfort of your own home and return all unwanted items!!!

For us stuck on smaller islands where you simply cannot gain access to these types of designer gowns without travelling to a fashion Metropolis it is simply fabulous news!

I also found their Wedding Magazine to be truly inspiring and a must read for any fashionable bride to be!

Shoes, shoes, shoes

Good afternoon all,

Yet another long silence due to a recent trip and some wedding planning, so again, I do apologise!

I am back and on the roll with some wedding fashion tips, I am loving Menbur, a Spanish shoe designer who's collection is to die for and so perfect for a fashion forward bride and her attendants!

For those that have missed the seasons predictions, nude, mushroom, muted grey are all the colours of the season and sooooo complementary to a bridal gown!!!

I am completely in love with these shoes, I am going to try them on the minute my dear friend George (sales assistant in the store that stocks these in my hometown) announces their arrival!

I am also loving the lower left pair of shoes, nude satin with tortoise shell effect, so pretty!!!!!

Always a bridesmaid.....

Hi all,

Sorry for the lull in posting, however I am away from the office and spending most days at appointments so very limited time to think of an interesting concept!

Over to todays post which is regarding some gorgeous bridesmaids outfits that can truly complement the wedding colour palette and even enhance it, especially in formal shots!

The bridal Party

Please do spare a thought for your bridesmaids when choosing their dresses, it is very popular to set a colour and have them wear what they like in the chosen shade. Perhaps you can have a seamstress make up dresses using the same fabric but different designs so as to complement each ladies body shape.

Please refrain from shiny satin by the beach, it's a little wrong!!!

Nautical Nothings....

Nautical Nothings

Good afternoon all, Isn't the inspiration board above cool? I didn't think I'd like the nautical theme as much as I do, I think I like the very specific take on it, it has to be feminine, yet minimal and just as I said above.....cool!!!

The colour palette speaks for itself, navy and white teamed with baby blue, red, yellow perhaps even a mid pink.

I am also a huge fan of texture, layer white on white but add different textures, think lace, broderie anglaise, meringues, feathers, fabrics, cushions, etc.

Perfect for an afternoon beach wedding!!!
