Elegant Boutique Hotel Wedding in Rhodes

Hi people, Merry Christmas!!!

Yes, haven't exactly been blogging lately, but I really have been extremely busy!

Today, I am showcasing some beautiful details of a wedding we organised last year in Lindos, Rhodes, which was exquisite! The bride & groom had incredible taste, choosing a fabulous venue and then letting us decorate accordingly, resulting in this ridiculously beautiful result!

The couple were simply beautiful, they groom was of Greek descent and most guests made the trip from the US to witness the couple get married!

After the Orthodox ceremony at St. Paul's bay (a very popular chapel on the water in a bay of Lindos), the reception took place, starting with a champagne cocktail reception with nibbles, followed by a 7 course meal! Dinner and dancing into the early hours ensured the evening finished with a smile on everyone's face!

Breathtaking right???? I smile every time I look at these pictures!!!

The reception dinner in Sifnos

Today we are showcasing the final installment of this beautiful wedding in Sifnos!

The setting was ideal, the people were cool and the party was long!!! I can never quite make it to the end of the party, I've usually been working for over 12 hours on the set up, but this was one of the weddings that I really enjoyed attending!

The Ceremony in Sifnos

Today we are continuing with the fabulous wedding on the Cycladic island of Sifnos, in the truly incredible church venue of Panagia Chrysopigi, perched on the edge of a natural pier, surrounded by sea in a beautiful bay, I can't imagine a more idyllic and picturesque location for a religious ceremony!

The bride arrived by boat, really cute, really Greek, however the force 7-8 winds, made the trip "eventful", in this case of course we could have switched to a car, but the bride decided she was up for a challenge and made a windswept and memorable entrance!!!

A vintage inspired wedding in Sifnos

Hi People,

Has anyone heard or been to Sifnos island? It's located in the Cyclades islands and is quite remote and requires a ferry from Athens to reach it, but once on the island it really is fab! Reminiscent of the extremely popular Santorini, but much less populated, expensive and over exposed! There aren't that many fancy hotels, just enough, but this is where I have found some of the best food, really good, home cooked, orginal Greek food!

There are quite a few wedding venues that I really love, including a taverna on a remote beach, a lovely stone built hotel with a pool and view and the venue we chose for this wedding, a beach bar in a secluded cove with breathtaking views.

Now the church, well that is just unique, fantastic, incredible, amazing!

But let's start at the beginning, getting ready, each in their own chosen hotel, with the anticipation building and the bride's adorable daughter helping throughout the preparations!
